Ok, the house broke ground just over three weeks ago and I went over and snapped a couple pics.

Here is the house from down the block (it is only 2 blocks away from the house I am in right now Wink

as you can see, mine is the first up in this phase, which will suck because I will be hearing all the construction going on around me after I move in. Blah!

Wow, they still use actual plywood for the sub-floors up there.
They use strand board down here now.

HC has great tasted when it comes to houses and interior decor.  When we were at the deco appointment, he picked out this gorgeous cherry wood for the floors and cabinets.  The granite is perfect in there.  It'll be a fabulous kitchen and a fabulous house.  I'm super excited for him.  And for me....maybe someday Wink Wink Wink  Sorry HC, I had to say it.   Kiss
