This might not be the most suitable category for this question, but since weight loss is a national epidemic, I was sure that there is going to possibly be some boys or girls in this forum, who have gone on any diets at all. If you have any familiarity whatsoever kindly share.

I am specially puzzled on which weight loss product to prefer, since there are so many choices out there. The most recent hypes on Oprah like hoodia gordonii or ephedera don't make this issue any more straightforward. I really don't have an idea where to commence, should I get an exact fat loss plan, schedule of exercises...All I have come to know is that a modification is necessary. And this alteration must happen now.

I guess the first thing would be for you to give us your stats, your diet plan, your exercise routine.

Give us something to work with and we might be able to help

Cheers....

I'm not good at following certain diets. I always take a look at your current diet and what you eat and start taking out the bad things and adding good stuff. On top of a well-rounded health diet, I'd also recommend doing more cardio like running or biking to burn calories. On top of that drink plenty of water and cut out the sugary energy drinks and soft drinks.

Keep it simple, especially starting out. Supplements are worthless if your food program doesn't consistently improve. If you have been wrestling with your weight for any length of time, and the fact that you are investigating your options indicates you have, I'll bet you have a rough idea of at least what NOT to eat. Start there; cut out the obviously unhealthy, high fat/high sugar/high calorie stuff and you will begin to see progress. Even advanced bodybuilders start their competition diets by eliminating the obvious, and dialing it down from there.
