Hey, remember me?

Stopping by to say 'hey' - kinda sad that traffic here is sooo slow.

HC, I saw your line in the shoutbox that big news is coming soon. Was that about the acquisition of the video company? Cool!

So I can't say that I have been faithful to the workouts. This last 18 months has been nuts. I was headhunted away from IBM to build a service organization for a Telecommunications company, building offices in Asia, US and Europe. I got 4 days off total last year and they weren't even consecutive. Our surprise 40 something baby was born 5 days after I started the job.

A few months back, I had bad cancer test results and had to hit treatment hard again - radiation etc. Put me down and barfing every day for awhile and was, quite honestly, very, very depressing.

How-frikking-ever, I am alive and well and blessed and doing what I can to stay healthy. Big, ripped and muscular would be nice but alive and working towards getting back into decent shape is what I got. Don't get me wrong, I have never gone back to being a fatso - I've just lost alot of the conditioning and muscle that I had built. Relying on that muscle memory now Wink

I hope all of you are well - special hi to HC, QOD, PS, McTavish, Jack... ah forget it. Hey to all.

Glad to hear you are doing better. I have been there (cancer) two times myself. Stay well, and good luck with the new career and enlarged family.

Good to see ya back. And well as far as the cancer goes it is what it is, and all you can do is work with it. Keep up the training as best as you can and eat clean. Work is important but not so important that the rest of your life should be put on hold, and as you know life is short and should be enjoyed daily!

Keep posting and visiting the site, and we'll see ya around.

Welcome back CJB! Good to hear you back on the block! Slow your life and your stress level way down dude! take time every day to just meditate with your eyes closed and your breathing controlled! I am static about mind over matter! Your a good man and your soul is way bigger than the "c". Keep your faith solid! We will include you in or prayers (i pray several times a day).

Thanks Jack. I pray several times a day too - sometimes, "without ceasing" Wink

I'm ok with all this and am not freaked. I know that I'll be ok. I worry about the stress for my fam but we've been through enough to trust and cling to what's important. So far, after this last treatment, I'm doing really well. This last time around, they burned the hell out of my face so recovery was nasty.

Good to see you all again.
