Hey guys,

Here are some pics (very bad ones now that I'm looking at them) of me 47 weeks out.

I guess you have to start some where right??

Man I see these pics of me at 294, and I can only imaging what I looked like at 340lbs, 46lbs ago.

(Thinking out loud) Man I don't want to post these!!!

Okay, besides heavy dieting, do you think I can do it in 9 months?

Hey Big Man...
47 weeks out from what?
Is it a date, or a number, that you are shooting for?

I'm shooting for the Wisconsin Naturals competition. It's the last week of April. I have a decent diet plan, see my journal. But I know, down the road, I am going to have to figure out the whole depletion/ dryness/ carb load stuff.

but thats my goa, then who knows.

I am looking to compete at 220-225.

I don't know, dry to the bone I may hit 225-230.

Furthermore, now I am 294. I think with strict dieting, I can hit 240 by December.

But i tell you, the pictures do not do me any justice. (But they never lie, huh!)

No pics don't lie, but I'm glad you posted these for a few reasons IE this will give you the motivation to really get to work on dropping the BF, and it helps those of us that have never met you in person to understand what we're working with here. As far as losing the BF for the show yes you can do it, BUT be prepared to work your ass off!

At a loss of 2 lbs per week you will be able to drop the BF and get down to your goal weight or 225-230. However no more fucking around with excuses as to why you just had to go off the diet or stop training for a week or two. Time to get busy big man!!!!

You can definitely, but you are gonna have to go full steam ahead starting now.  I helped a buddy of mine lose a similar amount in around the same time frame.  Big Samoan guy was strong as all hell but wanted to get back down to a weight of 225 he had in his football days from 300lbs.

Keep posting the journal & progress shots to help keep yourself on point and we'll help ya get it.

Thanks guys,

I'm happy y'all pullin for me. PS, you r right, no ,more excuses. I am turning the last month of my internship, I'll be done August 28. Until then I will suck it up and push to get my 5days and 2 days of active rest. The diet is going to be challenging, but I know with my wife as the drill Sergeant I will definately be on point. I think my hardest part will be my own cravings. But i'll see this picture and remember where I wanna b. I am going to start a new journal, seeing that I am at page 7. The first post will be the diet PS, Jack, and I have kinda put together and that will be my foundation.

Feeling like crap, dieting, but not losing. Same measurements, same bf. I have been strict no cheats for 3.5 weeks with negative results. Things are not going good at this point. I think I am going to miss my target date and size.

Man I need some sleep and crapy food  Angry

And there's you problem.....NO CHEATS!! If you don't have a cheat day once per week your metabolism WILL adapt and you will stop losing BF, start storing BF, and lose/metabolize muscle tissue for energy. So have a junk day!! Oh and go review your other thread as well!
