I'll be out of action for perhaps a week as I move my operation to Lake Tahoe. Wife is already there getting things set up, me and the dog are dragging what's left out starting Friday morning. It's about 2,200 miles, so maybe I'll cath a hotel with wireless and check in with everybody.
Looking forward to it. Our gym (Laura already has our memberships) is High Altitude Fitness. Sounded kind of foo foo until Laura said they have dumbells up to 160's, and guys who use them..... Pics will come as soon as I have some.

Well, we all landed safe and sound. Things are still a mess, lots of boxes, etc. Gym is very good. Pics will wait a while... we have a heavy, smoky haze going on, partially smoke from the CA wildfires that is really obscuring the views.

Glad you made it there safe and sound. So when you do those pics throw a few of the gym in as well....once a gym rat always a gym rat..... |

Today is the first day we could see the far side of the lake. Still hazy, but much improved. The gym... sure. It's quite good. Lots of stuff like rock climbing, yoga, etc. but a hardcore section with all the basics. Hardly anyone speaks English.... less than half of the members. Some Spanish, German and a smattering of Scandanavian dialects and French. Not as many advanced lifters as I thought. One female and one male bodybuilder are impressive and a couple of chunky guys throw around pretty heavy weight. I should be able to take over in a few weeks.....  |

So far, no one says anything to me. Not a word. I'm OK with that. For the ones that speak English, my Southern/hillbilly accent has them spooked.
