The old push/pull/leg routine can work.
chest/shoulders/triceps
back/biceps
legs
off
You can work these in any order, just be sure you have a day off or two a week. You may not want to do as much volume as you would with a 5 day split, but you still need to work with intensity.  Recovery time and nutrition will determine your results.

Well said and all things being equal this routine will yield solid results for quite some time. Just make sure you eat and rest!

yes. Low reps, less sets, higher poundages, more rest b/tween sets, slower movements while executing/moving the weight. You want to conserve as many calories as you can when in a "mass/bulk phase. Move slow, rest often, sleep and eat alot (as clean as possible). If you can train like this for a year, you will be on the rite track.

Yep, with a three day split you are definately going to have to focus on intensity and not volume, but also make sure you listen to your body. Dont fall into the "I have to work out this bodypart on this exact day no matter what" philosophy. Listen to your body, if you need an extra day of rest then take it. I followed a three day split for a long time, and eventually graduated into a 5 day, once per week, type of routine.
