raw eggs, tuna, and dessicated liver tabs....... Remember choking down soy protein when it was the new miracle supplement?
UGH soy protein and liver tabs (fuck those things were HUGE!!). I still can't eat tuna or cod from all the fish I ate way back when. All things being equal raw eggs were the best thing that ever happened to me and my BBing goals. I grew like a MOFO off of 2 doz raw whole eggs every day and gained strength hand over fist. IMO eggs are the secret to making solid gains when you're a beginner.

Hey I know this is off the topic a bit, but I was watching the 84 Olympia on youtube and IMO this is when BBing was at it's best. Guys like mohamed Makkawy, Chris Dickerson, Toney Pearson (stomach vaccuum!!), and Lee Haney were IMO the pinnacle of how the male body should look. Damn I miss the 80s BBing when it was cool to be a BB!!

Hmmm...I get the impression that we weren't giving the kid the answers he was wanting/hoping for as he hasn't been back in quite some time......Ah well he'll find out the hard way that it takes years a ass busting hard work to build a physique and that there just aren't any real short cuts.

I'm back, after a while, and have been thinking about all the things you said, but I've got one last question: What do you think about these:

Good to see you back!

I could tell a little better if the descriptions were in English, but from the numbers, they all look typical. Best I could tell, One was more like a meal replacement which actually had a pretty good balance of protein and carbs, but I think it would be more complete with a little more fat. Another was a weight gainer which might be OK for a skinny guy, but they usually have too much sugar. The creatine product may be OK, but I couldn't tell about the suggested dose... looked like more than you need, but I couldn't tell if it was pure creatine or had other stuff in with it.
I would suggest just getting a simple protien supplement, a multivitamin, and get used to eating a good meal every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Creatine is a good supplement for some, but see how well you gain on solid training and good nutrition first.
It's to easy to spend a barrel of money on things that won't help much, especially early on. Keep in touch. Us old timers have tried it all.

I would pay attention to MnB 'cause like he said "us old timers have tried it all", and most people spend WAYYY more money than needed on supps and really when you're starting out food is the way to go.

Indeed! When protien powder hit an all time high of $80.00 per 10lbs...
That's when Jack Tragic said ENOUGH! Now i only use pro-powder when dieting down/cutting.
Eat more tuna, chix breast, turkey, lean beef, eggs and egg whites!
