Hey guys. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest a workout schedule for me or give me some body building tips. I am building mainly my triceps, biceps, delts, and traps. Right now i do 4 sets of close grip benches, then do 3 sets of curls and 3 sets of military presses and then some shrugs, i do this every other day. I am not seeing the results i want to see, i am dying for some tips or some suggestions!

ive worked my back for a while, im good with it, and i still do work on it every so often. My legs are strong too because my friend from the Marines helped me build them a while ago plus I used to do tae kwan do. My goals are to pretty much get bigger guns.

I gotta agree with MnB here in wondering why you don't train the whole body? Oh and as far as tips go train one bodypart per day IE legs/day 1, chest/day 2, shoulders/day 3, back/day 4, and arms/day 5 with 3-4 exercises pre body part 5 sets each, and reps in the 8-12 range and you'll stimulate growth. However if you don't eat right you will not make the great gains you're hoping for.

Ah the bigger guns syndrom. Sorry kid but with us vets we look at the body as a whole and train to develope all muscle groups. Plus heavy squats and deads will increase natural test output thus allowing for overall growth. Unless your name is Branch Warren then you must train your legs and back etc.

These chaps really do know what they're talking about. You really need to be doing more than what you've said, as just training these parts will eventually be fruitless.

P.S. suggested a good fundamental program. Working each bodypart harder but less frequently will get better results. What is your eating like? That will be a huge part of your success.....

I just started doing that actually. I dont think i eat good for a bodybuilder, i dont really know to much of the science behind it. Pretty much i eat allot of eggs, and i eat alot in general, and right after i lift i drink a protein shake.

You have plenty of room to grow, so you can eat plenty. Don't make it all junk food. Too many guys your age think a foot long hot dog is a high protein meal. You need at least 250 grams of protein a day, 300 isn't too much. Eggs, meat, fish, dairy. Eat plenty of carbs, but not all sugars, please. Oats, rice, beans, corn.

Thanks, I will. But 250 seems like alot of protein just for one day, do you know any way i can possibly get that mush a day?

It's easier than you think. I eat a minimum of 350, up to 500 in contest prep. Think in terms of 5 meals a day, 50 gm per meal. A good shake will have 50 gm, 2 cans of tuna has 60, a couple of chicken breasts, you already eat eggs, milk is a great source too. It will pay off to research all your favorite foods for their nutrient content so you will have a rough idea of what you are taking in. It doesn' thave to be rocket science at this point.
