Why is it that we as knowledgable AAS users who number in the millions world wide are allowing the governments to get away with this? We all know that AAS are benign as to their side effects and really are much safer than tylenol etc which can be purchased over the counter by anyone, so why don't we make a stand and stop these attrocities from happening to otherwise law abiding tax paying people?

It's time we took a stand kids as what is taking place here is intolerable! And if this continues then what's next creatine or whey protein (these are also performance enhancers ya know)? It's time that we brought back some order as well freedom to look after our own bodies as we see fit and no longer allow big brother so much power over the individual.

I know this topic is slightly dated, but Steroids were actually "legal" untill the late 70's or so here in the States. I'm not exactly sure why the "fed" deceided to "change" their classification all of a sudden. But I beleive that they realized that the underground market and the "black market" were just too huge to grasp ahold of and put federal restrictions, taxes, etc on them. I beleive that they realized they would NEVER be able to get a total handle on the AAS market. So they apparently deceided to deem aas's illeagle, and try to "bully" the public by way of cheesy laws and fines, and even jail time and the media's role of falsely reporting deaths of famous contempory atheletes due to "steroid usage" as to brainwash the public masses into thinking that..."hey, maybe steroids WILL give us cancer, and hell...we might even grow a third eye right there in the middle of the back of our heads...DUH!!! (Lyle Alzado comes to mind here). There was no proof whatsoever that AAS use caused Lyles brain cancer. And yet before he passed away...their he was on national television blubbering on how he blamed AAS usage for his deadly condition! FYLA! As far as I understand, in order for someone to contract ANY kind of cancer (except melinoma, certain lung cancer's from asbestos, and recto-colon), one must have a certain gene trait within their DNA. Steroids are illeal in the majority of our civilized world, and yet we can stroll into any neighborhood Wallmart, K-mart, Farm & Fleet or Gander Mountain (stores) and purchase not only a high powered handgun or rifle...but the shells and cases needed to complete the very concealable little arsonal?!? Oh, and don't forget to stop by the liquor store on your way home from the "gun" store to also pick up some ciggs, and a couple liters of Jack Daniels & some 40 ouncers of Schlitz Malt Liquor beer to boot! Now were gonna have some fun...
