I am really working on the small portion of an area, that's needs working. I was informed this term is called sweeping lats. The area that I need to work is right below my arm pit and it sits or connected to my lower pecks but off to the side. I am working extremely hard on my lat development, but the area I am not finding any consistant exercise to work that part. I am doing full extension lats and rear and front lats also dips. It seems as if dips does work, but i would like to know if there are any more exercise that I can perform.

If I understand what you are trying to accomplish, try pullups with a  wide, overhand grip.

Ya it's hard to understand what exactly jaypatience is getting at but I agree that he is probably looking to increase hiw upper lat width/thickness. However jay the term sweeping lats has more to do with the lat as a whole as well as the size and shape than just the upper portion, so I suggest that you also work on using a medium/close grip and "feel" for the squeeze down low on the lats as well 'cause if ya only work on the upper portion then you could end up with what appear to be high lats.

I'd say do pull ups with wide overhand grip, close palms up grip, and bent over dumbbell rows.
