Any experience on Mike Mentzer's Athlete's Routine?
With Workout 1: Deadlifts and Dips; and Workout 2: Squats and Chins; (with 4-7 days in between 1 and 2)
If so, what results did you get?

I tried Mentzers routines way back in the day and found that it just wasn't enough volume for me to grow on.

He's dead, y'know. Super intense, low volume programs usually lead to injury.

I like the HIT training style, and I incorporate them every once in a while to add variety to my routines. But I generally go back to traditional bb'ing training.

Actually, this is a (was) a very radical routine back in the day. Alot of BB,ers took this and ran with it! Mentzer had the rite idea, but I feel that this type of training should be limited and periodic at best. As NO one can train @ 100% indefinately! The human organizm can only do so much at any given time frame. Growth Hormone has done wonders to combat this for strength atheletes. But again... For example...Dorian yates modified it somewhat and made it work extremely well for his cause! (and this was well before GH was utillized) I only wish he would have not retired from the sport so early.
 Yhis was the original...
