nuts/seeds are great man

i eat them everyday, good fats, and i feel they help replace carbs throughout the day and provide good energy (but dont eat them after training for a few hrs as the fat may be stored by the insulin if you take in simple sugars)

The only problem you find with nuts, is the fat content. Yes, I know most (not all) is polysinsaturated fat, but still it counts on your calorie intake anyway  Wink

Here is a breakdown of fats in 1/3 cup serving.  Generally speaking when dealing with my female clients, I have them eliminate nuts all together unless they are extremely low carb.  Anyone looking to put on mass, I will have them pull in raw almonds, only if their fats are low.

-almonds  25 grams

-peanuts 24 grams

-cashews   21 grams

-pecans      26 grams

-sunflower seeds    51 grams

-pumpkin seeds    51 grams

I do have all my femal clients eliminate nuts, because us females have this amazing ability to store fat.  Don't think of it as boring think of it as tasting that much better when you have it.  Smiley  hehehehehehehehe!
