Remember though...he could have been a judge at your next BB'ing comp speaking badley about you, or just waiting for some half-assed excuse to just get you off of the stage only because he not only thought that your posing routine sucked, but he didn't like the color of you posing suit to boot!! My point here is this (for you "slow" folks)...when you point the finger at someone, you have 3 fingers pointing rite back at YOU!  Post your name if you think that you are even close to being "perfect"...I know that I won't be leaving a post in that forum...

JT, whoa dude!  Chill out!  This was a thread for those of us to just share opinions on what we all thought was going on, not to go pointing fingers at anyone.  I don't think anyone is really doing that either.  Some of us, myself included just didn't like his singing.  You may and that is fine, but there is no need to get all defensive......It's all good.

I think that JT makes a great point here and I know the impact that this can have to people in the real world, so I'm inclined to agree with JT. However I think that it's sad that this kid was used in such a way by so many people in making their point about the show. The kid is only 17 so he has a future ahead of him if not in music then probably modeling or maybe acting.

JT, whoa dude!  Chill out!  This was a thread for those of us to just share opinions on what we all thought was going on, not to go pointing fingers at anyone.  I don't think anyone is really doing that either.  Some of us, myself included just didn't like his singing.  You may and that is fine, but there is no need to get all defensive......It's all good. 

Haha! Sorry if my method of statement may have been a little intense DQ...I'm only messing around luv! I only used references towards BB'ing/poseing etc., because the majority of us here in this forum can relate to it. If this were a music forum, I would have used "other" examples to state my view/opinion. I really did not mean to come-off as being defensive honey...not at all. Sometimes it's easy to beat-on someone based on the physical aspect/appearence of their personallity, especially when they are different from ourselves. but if we take the time to get to know the "person" inside that exterior shell, we become enriched and alot of times enlightened

JT, no big thang, darlin!  you just seemed angry and I personally wasn't trying to anger anyone.  The way he sang just wasn't something I enjoyed.  Everyone has their own personal preference which is what makes this world so dang unique.....JT, you be cool!  I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows I wasn't trying to cause conflict here.    Totally wuvin ya!

I didn't see much of this season but I saw part of when he sang Besame Mucho and that seemed to be one of his better performances.  I think that the kid is launched, regardless of his singing ability.  Either dumb luck or careful planning, but look what he has even though his vocals are not the greatest:

Name recognition---everyone knows his first and most also know his last name
He is parodied on Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live, etc--more recognition
He has groupies  willing to cry and scream his name
He is an entertainer just because of his many looks and he always puts on a show
People are GOOGLING him and following news of  him regardless of whether they like his singing
The kid kept going and smiling even when he had to know the stuff that was being said about him

I think that he will be a "collector's item" performer for awhile  and then maybe a voice coach and some handlers will get hold of him and then who knows??

And, know what?  I don't trust Simon!!!  For all the stuff he has said--he is a producer who sells entertainment---wouldn't surprise me if he has some secreet deal already with Sanjaya!!!
