what drink can you reccomend??

I never drink alcohol when dieting although, in the past, i've gone out to clubs.....just no alcohol. Would you put low test gas into a FERRARI?

#1 How did you Start working at MD? Steve approached me at the 2001 Team Universe in NYC and asked me if I'd like to write to MD. He told me they were returning to a hardcore format.

Do you remmeber the guy who placed 3rd this year at JR nationals, Bradon Curry? I remmember Flex W. said in MD that he expected this guy to be the next big thing...what are your thoughts? Brandon is a cool guy, he trains at one of the gyms here where I live...I wish him the best, but that was a pretty bold statement by Flex IMO.

i was just curious to know about your species supp line. as far as the lypolize goes, ive been having a hard time finding stuff on usnic acid as far as side effect profile and stuff. do you know of any counterindications it might have? or if there are any significant side effects to be concerned with other then increased body temp? thanks.

Whenever you oxidize more fat, you increase the production of free radicals and Usnic Acid definitely increases free radical production. That's why I've included extra Vitamin E and Green Tea Extract (EGCG)-- both known antioxidants (the Green Tea Extract is also a fantastic fat burner in its own right).



so essentially it would be prudent to treat it as DNP, although it is nowhere near as toxic?
also about your S.M.A.R.T training certification, is there a difference between the online one and the actual class one you have? im hoping to do it this summer (im in college). not to bring up a sore subject but, ironically i go to West Virginia University in morgantown lol. you were less then 2 miles away from me and i didnt even know it.

Similar in action to DNP (it's an uncoupling agent), however, it has no where near the toxcity. DNP's effective dosage is almost exactly the same as it's toxic (LD50) dosage.

SMART ONLINE covers only the classroom work (the part I usually teach). It includes the entire in-class lecture textbook. SMART (in person) includes an in-gym practical applications part, as well. That's why it costs more. We're hoping to put the entire course onto DVD in the coming year. Stay tuned!

As I'm not sure you can answer this due to contracts or whatever but this is the home of "NO BULL" so I'll give it whirl.

To the best of your knowledge (I know you can't review everything) what would be your top picks for OTC supplements for 1-prohormones, 2-Creatine (mono, ethyl whatever), 3-fat burner/thermogenic and 4-protein powder.

And lastly (just because everyone always seems to bash them), what do you think about Muscletech stuff in general? I know their ads suck and are targeted at teens but they do seem to do a ton of research (or so it seems). Any of their stuff worth the price? Just curious because they seem to be one of if not the largest sup company around.

Not to isolate any of our advertisers........i'll stick to dealing with supplements in a generic sense.

I think creatine is an excellent supplement. It's lasted the test of time (it's been around more than 10 years) which means that it "WORKS". The new creatine ethyl esters are interesting new products in that they maximize the potential of creatine in the smallest possible dosage. With that being said, the "OLD" powdered creatines are still just as effective (you just need to take more). Costwise, it probably works out the same (the ethyl esters require less product but they cost more)

With regard to protein powders, I prefer the WHEY ISOLATES since I have a very sensitive stomach (I'm very lactose intollerant). The isolates, although they move through the system rather quickly, are the purest whey proteins (no lactose). I add a tablespoon or two of all natural peanutbutter to my shakes and that has the effect of slowing absoption time (fats slow the transit of food through the digestive tract).

Fat Burner wise..........I prefer NON-STIMULANT fat burners (like my own SPECIES brand. LIPOLYZE)..........however, the caffeine-enhanced fat burners on the market today are extremely effective if you don't mind that "AMPed" feeling all day..........

Prohormone wise, I'm not even sure what's still legally available. Whatever is out there is pretty potent and I'm pretty sure they'll all be pulled off the shelves in the next couple of months.



dave i think you are incorrect about the GH's there are so many out there how do you keep track of what's what some are 192 aa and some 191 aa and people are getting welts from them using BaH20 from pharm companies ....don't think it's the water..


IGF-1 R3 is everything still gro prep repackaged by the research companies or where is this stuff coming from?

All GH on the market today is 191 Amino Acids.............I challenge you to show me otherwise. Why would a company produce the WRONG sequenced GH?



Dave, I know that you recommend a high protein - high fat - low carb diet, so what would you suggest as a good post workout shake/meal when getting ready for a show?

Besides whey isolate, would you recommend some carbs or would you perhaps just stick with BCAA's, glutamine, or perhaps something else?

When dieting using my HIGH PROTEIN/ MODERATE FAT/ LOW CARB approach, my post workout shake would consist of 50g whey, 30g fat (coming from all natural peanut butter), very low carbs (just whats in the PB). Remember, the brain is not using carbs when in a state of ketosis so carb intake (even after the workout) is unnecessary.

OFFSEASON, my post workout shake consists of 50g whey with 50g Vitargo (i just started using this high molecular weight carbohydrate supplement. It's fantastic. It empties from the stomach faster than dextrose yet causes no bloating). I actually sell it on my website now-- www.davepalumbo.com

As for fats, check out MACNUTOIL.com...........they sell a good source of MACADAMIA NUT OIL. Also, if you purchase nuts, make sure you buy RAW NUTS and KEEP THEM IN THE REFRIGERATOR.....


Do you eat Almond Butter or Peanut butter with your diet principles?
I like to mix it up...........ALMOND BUTTER, MACADAMIA NUT BUTTER, and CASHEW BUTTER are great alternatives (and better fat sources) than PEANUTBUTTER. Most people enjoy the PB better, however.


Dave - any regrets about not finishing medical school? As you are near 40 or a few years passed it, what are your long term business plans, investment principles, thoughts on age-based training?
I don't regret not getting my diploma from MED SCHOOL since, in my mind, after 3 years, my education was complete. Something inside me told me, "You're done!".............no regrets!

Fitropin™ from Kexing Biotech is, according to the GENSCI website, a 192 AMINO ACID GH..............According to a review of their product:

Fitropin is manufactured and distributed by Kexing. Kexing is a China-based pharmaceutical company. Because GeneScience Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has the patent for manufacturing HGH by secretion technology in China, Kexing cannot manufacture their product through such a pure and effective means. Rather, Fitropin is manufactured by Inclusion Body technology.

HGH that is created by Inclusion Body technology is not identical to human GH. HGH must be identical to GH produced naturally in the human body in order for it to be effective. HGH manufactured through Inclusion Body technology has been known to cause a person to build up antibodies against the drug, causing allergic reactions in some users and neutralization of the drug in others.

I'd stay away from this stuff as it's nowhere near as potent as the CORRECT 191 sequence.

lately i have been eating oatmeal and grits as a form of carbs early in the morning. i like how they sit in my stomach. also with a serving of sugar free metamucil sugar free each serving.

what are your thoughts on oatmeal and grits for some reason im addicted to them haha i guess its the southern in me from my father.

Grits are made from corn (a very fast carb).........Oatmeal is a much slower (lower glycemic index) carb, therefore, oatmeal will be much more energy sustaining. I usually use grits to carb athletes up since it gets absorbed so quickly.


Dave- Im going to begin a cutting cycle and wondered what your thoughts were on Albuterol as a fat burner. I have tons of the stuff in different forms(inhaler,liquid)my brother used to have asthma. How much should i take and what is the best form to take it in. Basically how do i use the damn stuff.
Albuterol has virtually no fat burning potential so don't waste your time. If it did, the FDA would have banned it long ago.

Do you think Test should always be run as a "base" for any cycle as some people say? I have always run it just to keep libido and energy up. I use small amount though and was wondering if increasing the dose of other anabolic would be sufficient.

Currently using
300mg Sustanon Type (UG lab) per week
400mg EQ
50mg Anavar daily

Was considering dropping Test and trying
400mg EQ per week
400mg Primobolan
50mg Anavar

Goal is to keep BF at 8-10% and go up 10-12 lbs of quality muscle over 8-12 weeks. I'm 34 and health is important now.

Any comments?

Test should always be included as a base in any MASS CYCLE (500-1000mg per week)

Dave: a question about fish fats

How does the fat in 100 gr of salmon containing 14 gr fat compare to the fish oil supplements ?

Meaning what does that 14 gr in salmon contain of the good stuff that makes us buy fish oil supplements

Most people don't eat salmon so that they need to take the fish oil supplements. Plus, just like we must eat protein throughout the day, we must consume Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids throughout the day. One salmon meal every other day isn't gonna cut it.



Big Dave, why do you think usnic acid isn't used widely in fatburners? It seems like other cultures use a product for centuries with no adverse events, yet here in the US we got drunk pitchers dropping dead with everyone pointing at the supp..

10 years ago, there were lawsuits that tried to blame some liver problems on a product called LIPOKINETIX (that contained Usnic Acid as one of its ingredients). LIPOKINETIX had a huge amount of usnic in it (100mg per capsule).........mine only has 12mg per capsule. Despite the fact that none of the lawsuits were won, companies got scared and steered clear of it.

Think a gram is alot? I've taken a gram a day for 2wks, bloodwork came back clean..

Abit of a giveaway, I've emailed you about your product once.. Might try it sometime..

1000mg Usnic is way too high................ it's not that you'll die....but you'll increase free radical production too much. Plus, less works just as well.



In your opinion is it possible to get a good "private dance" in New Hampshire?

I've been trying to do some research on ketogenic dieting. I haven't came up with a lot of information. One thing i can't understand is what happens with muscle glycogen when you aren't consuming carbohydrates. How does your body not flatten out without the carbs. Bodybuilders can use that type of diet going into a contest right? I'm curious as to how the last week of a contest diet works using a ketogenic diet. Is there any type of sodium/carb loading in the last week? My last question is what happens if a person were to go on a ketogenic diet and then go back to a standard bodybuilding diet with carbs? Thanks a lot.

On my recommended high protein/moderate fat/low low card diet, your muscle glycogen levels are very low, however, they never get depleted since the only activity that requires glucose (carbs) is WEIGHT TRAINING. And since you probably only require 50g carbs per workout, you'll have no problems since that's just about the amount you'll be taking in per day (from indirect sources-- nuts, peanutbutter, whole eggs, ect). Also, you'll be having a cheat meal once per week which will act to reload glycogen stores.



I saw you have arimidex in your mass cycle in the article section here Dave, I assume you're of the opinion that estrogen (or a lot of estrogen) is not needed for anything ? It does not hinder your gains when you use an anti-e during the whole of your cycle ?

If you use Arimidex on an every other day schedule, it will REDUCE estrogen but not ELIMINATE it. thereby, maximizing testosterone levels and muscle gains, and minimizing estrogenic side effects (without desensitizing androgen receptors from complete lack of estrogen)
I find that there isn't any estrogen rebound with Armidex or Femara since we're actually inhibiting the production of estrogen rather than just blocking estrogen receptors (like Nolvadex does)..............



how do you manage to use insulin on a diet like that? the lowest ratio i can handle without going hypo is 7 carb/iu
SIMPLE RULE: NO INSULIN when you're dieting........

Hey David I have a two part question, I'm to doing a show in April, The show is drug tested. I was going to use fina, Winny, Prop, Eq. And mabye some clen or eca stack. I was wondering when I should stop taking the drugs in order to have a clean test?

I have also read in this months MD mag that your worte. When guys stop using the test three to two weeks out, from the show they come in flat. What can i do, to stop this for happening

Never use DECA or EQ when doing a drug tested show.........the metabolites last a long time in your system. Deca can last over a year. FINA, TEST PROP, and WINNY can be taken up to 3-4 weeks before the show. I'd go off all injectables at this point and stick with ORAL WINNY and ANAVAR until 14 days out.......then stop all anabolics and all CLENBUTEROL. You can keep GH and Cytomel in right up to the day of the show.

To stop from going flat, stay on GH right up to the day of the show.



Dave, did I miss it, or did you talk about your sample diet on last weeks show. I listened twice but didn't hear you mention anything. Also do you think GH is worthwhile at 1 I.u. My insurance covers it, but I don't want to waste time with it if you think it's usless at that dose

Dave, do you have any opinions on impact/nonimpact carbs as a way of eating carbs but not releasing much insulin to inhibit fat burning or is that just a marketing ploy?
I really believe that the whole NON IMPACT CARB marketing ploy is as silly as the old FAT FREE marketing sales hype was 10 years ago. Carbs release insulin, PERIOD! Unless, of course, they are a non absorbable fiber. Be real careful of the whole NON IMPACT CARBS "warning"



dave, what are your thoughts on orals like anavar 10mg by british dragon, if i weret o run 20 mgs a day would that be harmful on the liver im paranoid with it affecting my liver or kidneys etc.

also liv 52, by himalya should i take with that and dose it realy worki have heard good things about it !

Liv-52 by HIMALAYAN LABS is an awesome liver detoxifer.

If you have any liver problems, whatsoever, I would steer clear of all 17-alpha akylated oral steroids..............ANAVAR included!



Q nr1: A friend of mine uses only 2-3 iu of GH before his workouts 4-5 times a week (offseason) & says it work wonders for him... Any coments?

Q nr2: I have my own bodybuilding & fitness store over here in Europe, Sweden & can use all supplements I want..what would you use?

Q nr1: I agree; 2-4IU is the ideal dosage of GH. I suggest taking it all in the morning since that's when your body is the most catabolic

Q nr2: As for supplements, I suggest sticking with a good Whey protein, creatine, and an essential fatty acid supplement (Omega-3 fish oil (3000mg per day) and Evening Primrose oil (2600mg per day)



Hey Dave what type of training styles do like when it comes to the gym such as sets, and reps and frequency(2 day split/3 etc.) and what you have found to be the most effective for clients? Also, what do you think of training styles such as DC? Just curious what you think. Thankx
I prefer the high intensity training technique. Less sets, heavy weight, but excellent form. I usually do 1 or 2 sets per exercise using impeccable form.



Whats your reasoning behind recommending the evening primrose oil dave???
Evening Primrose Oil is a great source of GLA (Gamma linolenic Acid) which happens to be one of the heathy Essential Omega-6 fatty acids. It's also a great liver detoxifier.



And how many sets per body part would you use.
I do a greater variety of exercises (maybe 3 or 4 exercises) with 1-2 sets per exercise. I don't use any fancing training techniques except that I use very strict, controlled, form. I occasionally superset or do drop sets.

I just had a quick quesion, If you had to choose. What would you use for pre-contest. Tren Accinate (finna) or Tri-Tren (3eaters of tren). This Show is drug tested.
TRENBOLONE ACETATE is the BEST...........quick acting and very predicatable.



Dave, on your type of diet is Crystal Lite, diet soda, etc. okay? If not what type of drinks other than water are good?
Diet drinks are fine.



dave, is there anyway of tranfering softly in the middle of a cycle, from Deca and test e to Tren Ace and Test E?

I'm dieting down right now and the Deca with Test E isnt working so i want to go with Tren Ace.

I'm taking 400mg of deca and 500mg of Test E and i want to go to 100mg EOD of Tren Ace and 500mg of Test E
I'm pretty sensitive to prolactin issues and wonder if there is any supplements to decrease it a little

Dostinex will block prolactin .......try 1/2mg every 3 days..............



dave, what were the proper olis you recomend per day and mgs?? flaxseed, fish oil and what the hell was the other one?
ESSENTIAL POLYUNSATURATES:
Omega-3 Fish Oil pills 1000mg 3x per day
Evening Primrose Oil (Omega-6) 1300mg 2x per day

NON ESSENTIAL but HEART HEALTHY
Macadamia Nut oil (Omega-9 monosaturates) 2-3 ablespoons per day

Hey, I understand you like high fat/high protein with no carbs for dieting. So how do you feel about cheese between meals and with a protein shake before bed?
There are no BETWEEN MEALS snacks on my diet. It's 6 MEALS........period! If your protein shake works out as one of those meals, then it's acceptable to drink it before bed.



Your diet information on No-Bull was awesome. one question. how much would you tweak this for off-season (for example, post w/o carbs -insulin) and for a larger bodybuilder. say 250+
more meals, or larger meals?

OFFSEASON, I would try to get 50g carbs with your post workout meal.



i told you guys. dave knows his shit ! hes the best nutritionst out there hands down. hes gotten me for shows when i competed and for photo shoots now. i owe him a lot. great guy.

now a question for the big man.

when you have the 1/2 cup of nuts with the chicken or light fish meal. waht do you prefer.. and why did you say refrigerate them.

also can i use kethup for my meats and chickens and eggs i love kethup. haha

I prefer RAW ALMONDS for my nuts. I refrigerate them to protect the delicated polyunsaturated fats. Prevents they from going rancid.



Dave I got a cardio question for you.
Keep in mind this is for a male 200 lbs, not on any AAS.

Could you reccomend two cardio routines one for off-contest (bulking mode) and one for a pre-contest cutter?

It seems that everyone and their mother have different opinions on cardio, but I wanted to hear what the man himself has to say!

I believe in LOW INTENSITY CARDIO......keeping heart rate under 125bpm

Dave, what do you recommend for your clients if they feel they are getting to fat in the offseason? Do you have them drop their carbs for a couple weeks, do some cardio? Also, what do you ultimately think of doing cardio in the offseason to keep fat levels in check? and do you think doing cardio in the mornining on an empty stomach is an effective way or do you think there is a more effective approach? Thanks for the input.
I suggest that they keep protein and fat consistent and cycle carbs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,raise them when you're too flat................and lower them when you're bloated or you start getting fat. This way you add lean muscle and minimize fat.



A GH question again...is it necessary to add thyroids when using it?

Don't take substances as a KNEE-JERK response to what you read. Yes, the body does need adequate thyroid levels for GH to work properly, however, most people don't have low thyroid while taking GH (especially when they are eating a million calories a day). Taking Cytomel (T3) could slow muscle gains in a MASS PHASE situation. On the other hand, when dieting, Cytomel can definitely be employed to keep fat burning at optimal levels.



Dave,in your October 2006 anabolic freak section, you put about GH that "when it's mucular swelling, it creates a full, skin-stretching look. When it's fat or the internal organs that swell, it creates an awkward, unaesthetic, appearance that, especially in a woman, doesn't bode well with the judges." Just wondering, how would you get it to the fat and internal organs to swell, and how could you help avoid it and get the muscular swelling?
GH causes all tissues of the body to "swell", therefore, to minimize abdominal organ swelling, you should keep the dosage around 2-3IU per day........1IU for women



Dave. How well would clen work, combined with an off season diet, to keep from forming unwanted bodyfat while bulking?
Do NOT use clen while trying to bulk up. It doesnt work well. It increases your metabolism too much. Plus, it dehydrates you too much and muscle cells like to be welll hydrated.



My question is about creatine while getting ready for a contest. I've heard varied things about needing to stop taking creatine due to water retention as a contest approaches, and yet others say that it doesn't matter, and even that you should use creatine all the way up to a contest since the water is held in the muscle and makes them more full looking. So should I cut out creatine as my contest approaches, and if so how far out.... Also are there any other common supplements that are taken that should be cut out as a contest approaches for any reason?

Cut out the creatine 2 weeks before your show..........just to play it safe.



Dave, what are your thoughts in regards to a cycle of LR3-IGF coupled with AAS? I've read some of your recommendations concerning IGF along side a standard cycle of AAS, but if memory serves me it is usually in conjunction with GH as well. Without the added GH is something like this a worth while venture? If so, what would your approach be, i.e. dose, duration, etc?
As for IGF-1.......I suggest taking it with anabolic steroids. GH is optional. Take 10mcg per day for 4 weeks straight.......and follow that by 2 weeks off........then repeat.

What do you think about Vince Gironda and his training and diet ideas.

The reason I ask this is because your high protein/moderate fat/ low carb diet, is much like the diets that he advocated 30-40 years ago??

Vince Gironda was ahead of his time. His intuitive approach to bodybuilding was incredible given the fact that there was very little scientific evidence to aid him in his "hunches". Can you use Clen all the way up to contest time... will it help with getting dry? I've never used it before but was thinking of possibly using it this year starting 3-6 weeks out.
If you use clenbuterol as a pre-contest fat burner.........MAKE SURE YOU DO STAY ON IT RIGHT UP TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW (you certainly don't wan't to negatively rebound a week before the show). For that matter, you shouldn't stop anything the week before the show. You're only asking for disaster.



Dave, I have been on a high protein (2 grams per pound of body weight) 4,000 calorie diet for a while now. I also take 10 g of creatine monohydrate post workout for over a year with 75 g of dextrose. Is this safe for my kidneys and liver?
400g per day is fine............. I wouldn't go too much higher than 500 however............. that's overkill. If you get the correct amount of essential fatty acids, you won't need that much protein. Also, try VITARGO (I sell in on my website) instead of sugar (dextrose).



dave just wondering do you drink?
I drink mostly water...........but when i diet, diet soda, crystal lite, and diet ice tea save the day.

dave loving your diet ! but the no carbs are killing me why am i craving it so much. no wonder why i can compete first week and im struggling i love food haha. going to diet for the arnold.

i mean im dieting like for a show but following you diet can i add any more carbe like asaprus brown rice etc or will that defeat the purpose

diet is as follows

1 meal one shake with all natural peanut butter


train hour to hour and half
2 then shake

3  hour later red meat with a salad and olives
4  chicken steamed or grilled with peanuts or almonds and i added some aspargus cooked

5  4 eggs 2 whole with some grits

20 min of treadmill cardio

6  peice of fish with some salad

7 shake with peanut butter

what you think?? im craving carbs is it ok i through in the esparagus and grits its only 18 carbs the grits

you're hungry because you're not eating enough fat. In fact, you haven't even listed quantities of anything so it's hard to see where you're going wrong. Get rid of those carbs and start eating the correct quantities of fat and protein and you won't crave anything.

With respect to Anssi's article on Arichidonic acid, I agree with the results of the study. I think you should increase Omega-3 levels and decrease Omega-6 fats since we already eat way too much Omega-6's-- a known cause of heart disease. It's the correct ratio of O-3's to O-6s that will maximize muscle gains.



Was wondering if you could post up a sample diet, very intrested in your no carbs, fat and protein approach to getting shredded.
Meal 1 6 whole Omega-3 eggs
Meal 2 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup raw almonds
Meal 3 50g whey with 2 tablespoons all natural peanutbutter
Meal 4 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
Meal 5 50 g whey with 2 tablespoon PB
Meal 6 6 whole eggs

This is typically how i start off most clients diets.........then there's modifications along the way and I have to cater it according to how hte client looks.



forgive me for my ignorance but what is the diffrenece between omega 3 eggs and regular eggs? im assuming they have more omega 3's in them but how the heck do they do that? and were can u buy them?
OMEGA-3 EGGS are produced from HENS that are fed FLAX SEEDS instead of CORN (remember, birds are supposed to eat seeds). When you restore them to their natural diet, most of their saturated fats turn to heathly essential Omega-3 fats.



Can you put on any size with a diet like that or is it exclusively for fat loss? How much different would a basic layout look for someone who is naturally very lean and looking to gain mass at all costs?
This "DIET" is for precontest and cutting up..............to turn this plan into a MASS GAINING DIET, just add in carbs and, perhaps, another 1-3 extra meals (depending on your metabolism).



do you think insulin post workout is a good mass building regime.. some pros state that they belive that it is worthless.. some state it is what is bringing the freaks of today..?
It's only good if you NEED the extra insulin. If you don't, you'll just get fat.



what do you think of cycles that are based predominately on anabolic compounds instead of anabolic compounds.. say 500 test as base, then the rest based on mainly anabolics (eq, deca, ect) in higher dosages..?
Half the equation for mass cycles are comprised of TESTOSTERONE and the other half is a synthetic Anabolic like EQ, TREN, DECA, or D-BOL




a well known trainer has come out and said that he belived that high dose anavar (around a100mgs a day) was in his opinion the best oral steroid today.. what is your opinion of anavar..?

i know you like long cycles.. but, what about doing cycles of 6 weeks and taking 4 weeks off (based on using fast acting esters to clear the system quickly.. i know a few competitors doing this (blast / cruise) and are reaping good benefits.. curious as to if you think this could be a feasiable alternative to your longer cycles..
I beleive that once you build new muscle, you must reinforce the gains. You must Re-Set your body's homeostatic set point. This applies equally well when you're attempting to lose weight. Once you've lost your last pound, you must maintain the weight loss for several weeks to months before it becomes permanent.



also.. in regards to form.. many competitors (branch for example) use a short non lock tempo on thier pressing movements.. allowing them to use more weight in the portion of the press that targets the muscle in question.. do you do this or do you always lock out.. if so ..why..?
It only works well for guys with short limbs (Lee PRiest, Branch, ect) Bodybuilders with long limbs need to do full range movements.



Dave what is the deal with vegetable calories? Say I have a cup of brocoli with my 4 solid food meals (3 other shakes). Each serving of brocoli has 30 calories. Should I count them or are they free?
VARGASTY, nothing's free in this life..............including the calories in broccoli. Everything must be accounted for. A big mistake people make while dieting is to gorge on "empty" calories (lettuce, cabbage, ect) because it keeps the stomach stretched out and its thus keeps your appetite stimulated.



thanks for the reply dave.. i just read what i wrote and i screwed up one of my questions.. what i meant to say is do you think it is beneficial to run a cycle with more anabolic compounds than androgenic.. maybe just 500 test and maybe another 600 or more total of eq or deca..? leaning towards the anabolic drugs instead of 1000 mgs of test... also.. do you think that arimdex and other antyi e's are bad for blood profiles..? i am always worried about my cholesterol since it has a tendency to run low in my hdl.. what is your recommendations in regards to anti e and how they can effect blood profiles.? thanks again dave.. and this scetion is great.. you da man..
ANABOLICS and ANDROGENS are usually kept fairly balanced. I tend to go a little higher on the androgen side (testosterone, trenbolone)...........

Also, I find the idea of beaing able to reset your body's homeostatic set point pretty awesome. It seems I used to be set at 128 or so, then 134-137, and now I tend to sit around 145, so I guess it makes sense now that I think about it.

I personally like Palumbo and his theories regarding diet as well as some of his training advice (with the exception of such minimal sets), and of course his AAS advice is always solid IMO.
