I cannot get the mysql database to upload the data without completely screwing up the existing forum (this new one) so it looks like we are going to have to start from scratch.... again! This was a screw-up on my part, as I was told to upgrade the smf forum by my host provider and the forum would not update. Usually it is a matter of a click of a button and viola, its done. This time nothing happened and when I attempted the manual upgrade it fried the entire thing! Arrrgh!
I am pissed......
I'll start putting up all the forums and subforums in the morning....

Yeah, I think so also. Sure we lost a shitload of info but we also lost a lot of non-posting members and spammers.
Lets get to filling the forums up again!

As a back-up to saving all info before the New Year works it's dirty deed, there is software called "Ghost", and/or a "Thumb Drive" which can store all info and then re-load it after the settings for the New Year change. Of course, I may be suggesting something that you already know of...just trying to help bro!  Jack. |
