What does everybody do to develop forearms? I do dumbell curls with palms facing the floor and ceiling. Is there anything else I can do to isolate? Trying to develop wrist strength as well.

I do reverse grip curls on a preacher stand, cable wrist curls, reverse cable wrist curls, Wrist rollers, and hand grips.

By Static Holds, you mean simply holding a dumbell out on a bench or my knees and just holding until failure, correct?

Incorrect. Static holds shouldnt be any longer than 25 seconds long, but longer then 10 seconds.

Well ,according to Arnold Schwarzenegger forearms can be trained anytime, even once every hour. I don't know if it is true, but I train them 3 times every other day doing some wrist curls and behind the back wrist curls.

Just for the record, I think the best strength builder in the forearms is the behing the back wrist curls and reverse grip barbell curls, as they allow you to use more weight.

I'm the same as phantom. I do static with no straps. It will build them up.

All I do to specifically target forearms are static gripping & pinching exercises.

Plate Pinches work well, but my plates are thick and soon my fingers wont be able to fit around them. But I recently switched to working them less and I already see decent grwoth in them. Isn't 25x4 a bit much for the forearms coneytt?

Wrist curls as we've been taught over the years is truely a worthless exercise, and IMO one would be better off doing either behind the back wrist curls or holding a pair of DBs at your side and opening and closing ones hands. A forearm grip machine is IMO one of the best devices on the market for developement of both grip and forearms, but static holds, pinch gripping plates etc also work rather well.

I mean they work for me, I've always did these and have gotten good resuls. I don't go up nor down in weight, I usually just stay the same. and with the short motion, it's fairly easy to do 25/4. IMO
