I've been pokin' around the board for some time occasionally asking a dumb question, but I've decided to "rededicate myself" to my workouts.  So here I am!!

I'm 37 and work at a desk all day, but I workout during my lunch hour.  I have 2 daughters (9 and 10) and a step-son (10).  My goal is to build and define and lose the bodyfat.  I know I need to do more cardio (which I hate) and I need to watch my diet more (beer is my arch-enemy).  I'm always looking for new info about nutrition and ways to change up my workout.  I also officiate football, which keeps me motivated to stay in shape so I can take a hit.

One of my challenges is trying to eat like an athlete while also feeding a family.  One advantage I have is I'm the family chef, so I can control what goes into meals.  So, I'd love to know what some of your favorite recipes are for your super-protein meals.

Looking forward to getting to know everybody here.

Oh, some stats:

Ht: 5'10"
Wt: 198
BF: probably about 20% per calipers above the hip.  I've been afraid to check since the holidays.

Glad to have you here. Keep motivated and drag your ass in to do cardio, and you will be on your way.

As far as my fav protein meal, its simple:

16oz ground turkey
1.5 cups basmatti rice
1 can green beans
lots of spices and herbs

Mix it all together and your set! 80+grams of protein and 50-60g carbs. You can divide it into two meals if needed.
