What are the thoughts on the two people the media think is going to run for presidency this year? We have Clinton and Obama. Firsts in the history on both accounts. One a female and the other a black male.

Wow.... jumpin' right in, aren'cha Mom?!

Personally. I just don't like Hillary.
As for Obama....... I'm not sure what he's done that would make him a good President.
He's slightly more Qualified than I am, solely on the fact that he has run for office, and I haven't.
But, in this media driven culture of personality we live in, he may very well get elected.
He certainly is charismatic.... me? Not so much!

Don't like Hillary, and I dont know much about Obama's views. He isnt the first black man to run for president. I believe Jesse Jackson ran in 84 and 88. I'd like to see Giuliani run.

I feel that no matter who you end up with it's going to be a far better person than who/what you've got now!

Not for Hillary for sure.  I like Bill, but not her for sure.

But surely George Wattle Bush (Wattle is an Australian Tree, its an OZ joke so I don't expect you to get it) will win anyway.  He's managed to steal two elections, maybe a third one even if he's not postulated could be an option...

cheers,

Two term rule for George W.----looks like it will be the new guys unless someone is waiting and watching for the right moment to declare.

Oh, never count on that mate.  You never know what might happen.  There is always time for a constitutional change....

LOL!! This is EXACTLY the same things I remember reading online when Bill Clinton's final term was winding down...... but Y2K , and all of THAT doom and gloom, was rearing it's ugly head. Clinton was gonna declare Marshall law, suspend elections, computers were gonna crash, the economy was gonna go down the toilet.... yadda-yadda-yadda!

No one gives Bush credit for what he has done so far though. As with most presidents during time of war, the media makes him look like a failure. For instance the whole thing with him sending over 20,000 troops, everyone conviniently forgets to mention the fact that he bought back double that amount.
