I just bought these and just wanted to share my experience.  They're great for a person who wants that during the work day protein, 30g to be exact.  Great price and great flavor.  I know its not the highest quality  protein but, for the price you can't beat them.

I'm glad to see others are enjoying them also.  And another word of advice is don't keep them in the fridge.  I pack my lunch the night before and just keep it in the fridge till the morn. You have to leave them out unless you like to eat stone.

lol---I got into a "bar eating phase" and stocked up on  them awhile ago.  Then, my schedule changed and I didn't need the bars so much so stuck them in the cupboard.  Some are still OK and some are bricks.  I never thought to check for Best Before dates on them---are there any?

I just checked and answered my own question---most bars DO have a Best Before date on them although some are easier to read than others.  Thanks, Nick, for starting this thread because I just threw out some bars that had passed their expiry date by some YEARS!

Generally I never eat bars, but if I'm out with QOD and my blood sugar is dropping I may have one or just say fuk it and eat a burger, as I feel even a Micky D burger is about as healthy for ya as a bar.

Yeah, maybe...but at least I can read the ingrediants in a bar...we still have no clue as to what those Micky D burgers have in them.  YUCK! Tongue

HC and I rely on bars heavily throughout the day with our shakes.  It's hard, because we are on the floor with clients all morning and all evening....one gets hungry in a 6 hour block.    Wink  Also, with  today's go go go society it's nice to have something with some substance that we can rely on that is better than Taco Bell and more filling for me than a shake sometimes.   Smiley

Add flax oil to your shake and that will make it much more filling. Remember DQ I live on only one solid meal per day and the other 7 meals are shakes. However if I'm out, as I said, and my blood sugar drops I really do need to eat and a burger IMO is far better than the possibility of passing out (I'm very hypoglycemic and have been all my life).
